We allow all interested people the opportunity to try our classes for two-weeks at no cost. After the trial program you can join our One Year Program. Students may attend as many classes per week as they wish, but we strongly recommend no less than two. After obtaining their Yellow Belt, the student can also attend the advanced Sparring Classes (additional equipment is required).
Our program for 4-year-olds meets 2 times a week and students work on motor skills, improving focus, balance, coordination and self-control along with age appropriate Taekwondo techniques and games.
Mothers-to-be, new mothers, veteran mothers, grandmothers, and non-mothers come together a couple of mornings a week for self-empowerment, physical fitness, camaraderie and lunch. It’s a normal day to see young children playing amongst these hard working, determined, ever vigilant women.
Our Youth Taekwondo program combines traditional martial arts training with high level character development and state of the art teaching methods. Not only do our children learn self-defense, they also develop very positive feelings about themselves and others.
The pressures on our youth today are very different from when we were growing up. Children don’t only have to worry about getting good grades and behaving, they have the constant battle of avoiding drugs, gangs, violence, bullying, peer pressure and are under the constant threat of being abducted by an adult or another child.
The dangers our children face today are unbelievable. We don’t want to be paranoid, but we do want them to be safe. Our program is designed to not only prepare them to defend themselves but to develop their Life Skills and Mental Discipline so that they can thrive in an ever changing world.
Teen / Adult Program
Our Teen / Adult Taekwondo program combines traditional martial arts training with high level character development, fitness components and includes stress reduction strategies. Students learn advanced self-defense and sparring strategies. We also focus more on developing leadership skills that students can apply in school, the community and their place of employment.
Taekwondo is one of the most effective fitness programs for Teens an Adults, incorporating bodyweight excercises, plyometrics and strength / conditioning components in every class.
